I bought a new dress form last week and this is one of my first creations! I love the fabric, it's a yellow and purple tulip print. I like how it looks like a painting. It has pleats down the front and a contrasting waistband. This is the first time I've made a skirt without an elastic waistband, moving up in this world! My boyfriend calls it "The Lakers skirt" because of the colors.....I don't think so. Check out the tank top that I altered here.

Wow! This skirt is just as cute as the Bamboo Billow Mini that I was drooling over in Anthropologie...soooooo I have to have one...how much is this going to cost me...I'm thinking a little less than Anthropologie maybe???
